Amber Alert issued for 14-year-old Tyler teen

TYLER, TX (KSLA) - Texas officials need the public's help in locating a missing Tyler, Texas teen.

14-year-old Ericka Faith White was last seen, according to the Tyler Police Department around Midnight Sunday in the Chapel Hill area of Texas.

Officials have reason to believe that White's disappearance poses a credible threat to her health and safety.

Tyler Police say White has been reportedly abducted by 18-year-old Blake Austin Miller. Law enforcement officials believe that the disappearance of Ericka White poses a credible threat to her health and safety.

White is described as a white female, 5'2" tall, weighing 105 lbs. with blue eyes and blonde hair. Her alleged abductor is described by police as being 5'6" tall, weighing 140 lbs. with brown hair, green eyes and bad acne.

Officials say White also goes by the nickname "Star" or "Stargazer" and will claim she is 18-years-old. Miller, according to officials goes by the nickname "Joker" and is known to carry knives.

White and Miller are reportedly hitch hiking rides from place to place.

The Texas Department of Public Safety has issued an Amber Alert for 12-year-old Ericka Faith White.

White goes by the name “Star” or “Stargazer” and is believed to have been abducted by 18-year-old Blake Austin Miller from Richardson, in Dallas County.

She is about five feet, two inches tall and weighs around 105 pounds. White has blonde hair and blue eyes.

According to officials, Miller AKA “Joker” is a white male about five feet, six inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds.

Officials said he has bad acne and mental issues.

Miller does not have a vehicle and is hitching rides from place to place.

White will say that she is 18-years-old and denies her true name. Their last known location was IHOP at Highway 75 and Spring Valley Road.

Miller is known to carry knives and may be dangerous.

I just got back from eating an ice cream cone with my 14-year old daughter and my heart is breaking for this little girl's family. I pray that she's okay and that God give her family strength.

The State of Texas canceled the Amber Alert Wednesday evening (10-07) after the child and the suspect were located in Fort Worth. No further information is available at this time.
